  After looking on the Internet at local hotel prices I thought I was going to be sleeping in the back of my car! It was refreshing to find this place and I had a very pleasant stay here. It's the cheapest place in town and the standards reflect this. It's a bit run down, but is not without character, all the facilities you need are here including a full kitchen, shared bathroom and showers, air conditioning, and even TV in the rooms!

  No one answered the door or the phone... the place looks a little worse for wear. But completely deserted.

  This was the worst place I stayed in 8 weeks of traveling. The reception was suppose to open at 9am so I could get my breakfast included in the price but it didn't open till 11:30am and even then I didn't get my breakfast. There were massive cockroaches in the filthly shower and toilet area and also outside my room which came into my room in the night. I was so glad to leave here it was horrible.

  unfriendly staff, owner got very drunk at night, hygienic conditions in toilet and shower area are horrible, internet 15$/h and slow as, giant cockroaches everywhere, beds and bedrooms too small and untidy, fan too loud to sleep... Just don't do it

  I only found this place because I called up. The rates are not on the website, you can't book online, and it's just one old guy that runs it... So, if you rock up and there's no one around you might have to wait for him to come back, this isn't unusual in the outback!
