  Good as a visitor centre to get some info about the area and further south. There were no mining tours running that day.

  Did the mining tour only, Nigel was amazing keeping you engaged in the description of the complexity of excavation from the beginning of the mining activity in Tennant till today.

  We visited the underground mine (we did not take the other tour) and found it very interesting. However, just know that this mine isn't a real mine, it is a replica built for instructional & training purposes, and the person leading the tour, while knowledgeable and fun, had never worked or been into a real mine. They are upfront about the former once you have paid and the tour starts - I wished they were upfront before you book the tour. It's still excellent, but it feels a little dishonest to hide this until after the tour starts.
